Neighborhood Clean Up

Neighborhood Clean Up

Neighborhood Clean Ups are projects often begun by citizens of a specific area who work with councilmembers, Ministerial Alliance, City of Cuero staff and other volunteers to remove litter and other refuse from the property of those who are disabled or unable to do so themselves. In spring of 2014 Councilmember John Fuqua helped to do that in District 1 and 2. The members of the Ministerial Alliance and their members volunteered to move debris from the property to the curb where City crew could pick it up. Then it is weighed and sorted separating the items that can be recycled including tires, brush, aluminum, cardboard, paper and so on.
